We are a small independent day nursery located in the centre of Woburn Sands, near Milton Keynes.
We offer an early learning environment which is tailored to each individual child’s needs in safe, secure, happy and relaxed surroundings.
The nursery consists of three rooms designated for each age group. We provide a place for each child to develop a strong sense of belonging.
Our staff strive to build each child’s self-confidence through encouragement enabling them to reach their full potential socially, physically and intellectually.
Our Outside Spaces
We have an outside space that is divided into a learning area and a large grassed area, allowing the children to extend their personal learning to outdoors. As the nursery is located in Woburn Sands, we take the opportunity for the children to spend part of their week participating in activities in the woods.
Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework (EYFS) through daily adult and child led activities allowing the children to meet and achieve their age appropriate learning goals, as well as setting personal and group next steps. Working in partnership with parents children are able to progress through the EYFS during their time at Nursery and their success is recorded in their individual records of achievement.
“Wonderful friendly and enthusiastic staff. Well planned fun activities which my son loves to talk about when he gets home.”

“My daughter has settled in to Larchfield so well. She walks in confident and happy every time I drop her off. In her last nursery setting she wasn’t very happy so it’s a relief to see her settled. At the end if the day, she comes out clean and smiling.”

“Sending my daughter who was born in the first lockdown to nursery when there were still family members she hadn’t met filled me with anxiety, but I truly feel that she is in a place where her needs are carefully considered and she is loved, I’d happily recommend Larchfield to any parent, I wish I’d had the same experience with my older son.”
