About Us

The Nursery was established in October 2013 by Susan Coleman and Becky Watson in small local premises, focusing on providing a secure and personal learning environmen20170822_150648t for children aged 3 months – 4 years. The nursery operates an open door policy with parents and carers to ensure that the children receive the upmost care and attention. We follow the EYFS and parents are encouraged to contribute to the child’s individual record of achievement.

Opening & Closing Times

We are open four days a week from 7:45am – 6pm and Fridays 7.45am-5pm and throughout the school holidays. The nursery closes on bank holidays and between Christmas and New Year, following the Milton Keynes school term dates. We fully understand that sometimes work and life can get in the way and can change plans, therefore we try and accommodate each parents’ unique needs and be as flexible as possible.

Lunches and Menus

Meal times at Nursery are a lovely social occasion for your child and they will be encouraged to sit with their peers and to try a wide variety of food.

Healthy snacks, drinks and a light tea are provided by the Nursery in the morning and the afternoon. Hot meals are provided by a local outside catering company, delivering each day on a three weekly menu. These menus change according the seasons. Lunches are included in the fees until children receive funding when they will then be charged per meal/snack. The menus will be displayed on the wall at the entrance of the Nursery and emailed to parents.

Key worker system

Every child is allocated an adult who will be their Key Person. The Key Person will take the time to get to know your child and work with you to ensure your child is getting the best possible care and that we are providing the right experience to enable your child to reach their full potential. As we are a small nursery, the staff observe all the children, who in turn get to know all the staff.

We encourage visits to the nursery, to see the unique experience and care we offer to families. So please get in touch for more information.
